Yo Naci en el fuego

Meet the father and son behind Juan Griego — and the four generations of Argentine fire that
shaped everything they do.

From Cordoba to Tamarindo

Marcelo grew up in Cordoba, Argentina. From the age of four, he stood at the asado beside his father — not watching. Helping. Feeling the heat, reading the flame, learning the patience that fire demands.

That knowledge didn’t come from a school. It came from four generations of asadores who believed that cooking over fire is how you bring people together.
He carried that fire to Costa Rica. In Tamarindo, he found the place to share it — and brought his son Gaston into the flame alongside him.

To create moments people remember long after the meal ends. Every fire we light. Every dish we serve. Every story we share at your table.
